We have a super sweet, sugar-free donut recipe for you to make with your bestie! And the perfect recipe for cooking up the best bestie if you don’t have one already!

Coconut Donut Recipe:

Here’s what you will need for the donut base:

1 cup coconut flour
2 eggs
1 cup almond milk
1 tsp baking powder

The Carob Frosting:

Plain yogurt
Carob powder

Mix the dry ingredients, then add in the rest. Fill your mini donut pan with the mixture, make sure you press the dough down to make it really compact.

Bake them in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until the edges start to brown. Cooking longer will just make the cookies harder. Let them cool down in the tray until you can remove them, we don’t want burnt fingers or paws! Then transfer the donuts onto to a wire rack. Paws off they are not yet ready! The next step is the most fun!

The donut frosting topping:

Stir in the powdered carob powder with plain yogurt to make the yummy frosting! More powder will create a darker chocolate, and less will be lighter. If you want a darker frosting, you can also add a little bit of water to the powder and yogurt mixture until a frosting-like consistency is reached.

Sprinkle some colorful treats on top to make them really POP!
