Baked Pumpkin Peanut Butter Treats
Ingredients:
1 cup Pure Pumpkin Purée.
2 to 2.5 cups Whole Wheat or Oat Flour.
1/2 cup All-Natural Peanut Butter (Xylitol-free!).
Instructions:
Mix ingredients until a stiff dough forms. Roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness and use a cookie cutter (pumpkin shapes are fun!). Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes until firm.
No-Bake Pumpkin Oat Balls
Ingredients:
1 cup Pure Pumpkin Purée
2.5 cups Old-Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup All-Natural Peanut Butter (Xylitol-free!).
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients until well-mixed. Roll into small balls (the size of a marble or slightly larger, depending on your dog). Chill in the refrigerator until firm, about 30 minutes. Store in the fridge.
Frozen Pumpkin Yogurt Bites
Ingredients:
1 cup Pure Pumpkin Purée
1 cup Plain, Unsweetened Yogurt ( must be Xylitol-free!).
OPTIONAL: 1 tablespoon of honey (in moderation).
Instructions: Mix the pumpkin and yogurt until smooth. Spoon the mixture into an ice cube tray or a silicone mold (like paw prints or pumpkins). Freeze until solid.
Sweet Potato Jerky Chews
Ingredients:
Sweet Potato (1-2 medium, scrubbed clean).
Instructions: Slice the sweet potatoes into long strips about 1/4 inch thick. Lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at a very low temperature, such as 225°F (107°C), for about 3-4 hours, or until they are dry and leathery.
