Berengere & Wookie
♡ Your bestie’s name, age and breed?
I have actually two best friends, Saggamore, my horse and the one I’m going to talk about, Wookie, a mixed pinscher who is approximately 9 years old. I adopted him in a pet shelter so I will never know his exact age.
♡ What is it like having a dog as a best friend?
It’s a best friend who takes you out no matter what, so you can have, too, your daily walk. The result of this is finishing each day with a happy, relaxed and healthy dog, just as his or her human! It’s a best friend who will always listen to you and be by your side. A best friend you live with and who is essential and so precious. 😍
♡ Have you ever travelled with your bestie?
I often travel with him in France either when I’m going on holidays or to see my family. He loves taking the train or the car. 🚗
♡ What is the funniest thing they have ever done?
I think the funniest thing Wookie did was when he was so excited to go out of the train station than he didn’t wait for the glass door to open and he ran into it ! He is always so happy to go anywhere. Of course he didn’t hurt himself.
♡ Describe your dog in 3 words!
Smart, active and gourmet.
♡ Where’s your dog’s favorite place to go?
I don’t know if Wookie has a favorite place, as long as he is going somewhere, he is always happy – even at the vet! But I would say he really loves the beach (I do, too). 🏖️
♡ What does your BFF do that always makes you smile?
I love to see him happy to run when he is off leash and also when he’s trying to win somebody over by seating on two paws.
♡ Any secrets about them you can share with us?
He is VERY strong minded when he wants something but don’t tell him. We will be soon on YouTube too! 🥒 🥕 And he loves some vegetables and fruits such as kiwi, carrot or cucumber, but it’s not really a secret…
♡ Can they do any fun tricks?
Yes, I learned him « touche » which means touch : when I say the word, he touches my hand or something I’m pointing at with his nose. I find it so cute!
♡ Do you have a rescue story you can share?
I adopted him in a shelter in Burgundy (France), he was found alone in the streets of the South. It was very important for me to rescue a dog as so many are abandoned.
♡ Is there anything else you want to tell us?
We both love plushes and vegan goods such as Friendship Collar! 💕
