Saved Me - Philadelphia
Saved Me is a no-kill shelter located in Philadelphia, Pa. which rescues animals from overburdened shelters both locally and nationwide. Saved Me dedicates their time to improving and enriching the quality of life of abused, abandoned, and neglected pets. Kennel based, the rescue and runs on the support of hard working staff and volunteers that offer their time to come walk the dogs and give all of the animals some much needed attention and love. Richie (The Hipster Pup)
Richie is a 3 year old Shar-Pei mix with the most gorgeous brindle, soft coat. He came to Saved Me in January from Animal Control in Philly. Richie served as the dog they used for dog meets at Animal Control. He is such a sweetheart and loves to go on walks and play in the yard. Richie is so wonderful we don't know why he is still at the shelter! He is the perfect medium size, knows commands, walks well on a leash, and takes treats so gently. Richie will make the perfect companion for pretty much anyone! Richie’s only wish is that his new home doesn’t have any feline residents. How could you not want Richie! Look at that face (and those ears!)
Zoe (The Top Dog)
Zoe is a 5 year old black lab mix. She came to Saved Me from the South with her sister Ellie, who has since been adopted. Zoe lived in a home her whole life. Personal reasons prevented the family from keeping the dogs. Zoe is calm, and sweet. She is looking for someone to give her love and call her their BFF. Zoe's relaxed personality does very well with other dogs. Her dog selective sister didn’t even mind her! She is a southern belle looking for a new home to call her own again. Zoe wants to love and be loved. She’s looking forward to long walks and maybe even a yard to play in!
Mable (The Pedigree Princess)
Big Mabes! Mable is a 5 year old mastiff mix. What is there not to say about this dog? She’s awesome! Mable was an owner surrender. She’s been at Saved Me since January 1st and we have no idea why! Mable is housetrained, good with other dogs, great on a leash and is an absolute love bug. We don’t know much about Mable’s past family but we do know she LOVES people. She excitedly jumps up for hugs and kisses. She is very obedient and always looking to please her human friends. Mable is about 85 lbs (could even afford putting on some more lbs) and doesn’t really know it- she may even try to sit on your lap! Mable is looking for a BFF that likes to play and go on walks but also knows how to just hang out and relax. She’s looking for a friend that doesn’t mind doggie kisses and love and affection from a big teddy bear.
