October is finally here, and it’s one of our favourite times of year! Halloween preparations are in full swing and pumpkin spice everything is back!

But there’s a somber side to October, too — it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women, affecting 1 in 8 women each year.

Thanks to hardworking cancer organizations all across the world, survival rates are increasing dramatically! 78% of females survived breast cancer for 10 or more years (as of 2011).

Help FriendshipCollar ensure no one faces breast cancer alone!

We want to do our part to help support those faced with this devastating disease. That’s why we recently launched our new Pawsitively Pink FriendshipCollar, an extra sparkly charity design we’ve created to help our fellow humans in need. 

We’re donating 10% of net sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.®, a charity which supports women during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Your donation will help provide help and hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.

An estimated 252,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year in the USA. That’s one woman every two minutes. In the time it takes you to read this blog post, another woman’s life will be changed forever. Your contribution will help women now.
