Riley, 1 year old. Labrador Retriever.
♡ What is it like having a dog as a best friend?
It is so amazing. Riley and I have such a great bond, I would be lost without my best friend. He really makes me so happy every single day. Riley has made me more social and more adventurous. I’m so grateful for my best friend. 💕
♡ Does your pooch like to swim?
He loves to swim, that’s his favorite thing to do. He will swim forever, especially if there is a toy involved.
♡ What is their favorite way to relax?
At the beach, while watching the Florida sunset. 🌅
♡ Are there activities your pup looks forward to every summer?
Yes, swimming at the beach is number one. And checking out new spots to adventure!
♡ What is the funniest thing they have ever done?
Jumped in the air to catch a slice of watermelon! 🍉
♡ What is your pup’s favorite season? What is yours?
Summer ☀️ Mine is Fall 🙂
♡ What is the strangest thing they have eaten?
Lettuce, Riley loves to eat healthy! 🥗
♡ Can they do any fun tricks?
Yes, Riley knows a lot of tricks! He knows sit, down, shake, beg, high five, stay, spin, roll over, and play dead. Play dead is definitely his coolest trick!
♡ How did you find your bestie?
Riley was found as a stray in Georgia, and the rescue we got our first dog from flew him down to Florida. And I offered to foster him, and within a few days, I knew he was my best friend and I couldn’t let him go. So I adopted him!
♡ Do they have a favorite summer treat?
Watermelon, of course! 🍉
♡ Where’s your dog’s favorite place to go?
Beach is number one and hiking would be his second choice.
♡ Do you travel together often?
We have not traveled yet. But in October we have our first vacation planned, and that’ll be our first time traveling together. So excited!
♡ What are your top tips for being the best dog parent?
Patience, have patience when it comes to your precious pup.
♡ What does your BFF do that always makes you smile?
Every time I come home whether it’s been 4 hours or 4 minutes, Riley always greets me with a toy in his mouth. And wiggling his butt like crazy! Always makes me smile instantly. 😀
♡ Any secrets about them you can share with us?
He will howl/growl if you ignore him, it’s cute and goofy!
