The story: I became a corgi addict after meeting my friend’s corgi puppy during freshman year of college. After years of waiting, researching, and googling corgi pictures/videos, my sister and I finally decided to get one. We found a reputable breeder nearby and picked the last available girl from a litter of 7 puppies. She happened to be the runt of the litter, so we decided on the name Trinket

Breed: Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Describe your pooch in 3 words.. Sassy, silly, and pretty!

Dog’s favourite trick? Turn around/twirl. Occasionally, she will do all of her tricks consecutively to earn a treat.

Tell us a quirky/funny story about your pup: Trinket spent a few days at her littermate’s (Mochi) place while we were on vacation. At night, she kicked Mochi off the bed and slept in his spot. Poor Mochi. Haha.

What’s the cutest thing your dog does / has ever done?  Trinket makes a funny ‘baroo’ sound whenever she wants something. We have a few videos on Instagram.

Dog’s main personality traits? Trinket’s very sassy and knows she can get away with most things. She decides when she wants to be affectionate. She’s shy around new people but will quickly warm up to anyone who has treats.

Dog’s favourite Hobbies?  Chasing after the ball and not bringing it back. Why won’t fetch happen? Haha. We both enjoy practicing agility and it’s a great bonding experience.

Describe your dog’s typical day.. Trinket is a morning dog. She loves to give kisses all over my face every morning and wants to cuddle. She goes straight to the kitchen right before it’s feeding time. She somehow knows. At night we play ball/Frisbee, go on walks, and practice agility. She’s not much of a cuddler at night, so I give her forced cuddles
